Surveys on our doorstep
Southend is where THS Concepts started, and it is still where we do a lot of our work. Being this close means we can usually get to site quickly, return easily if anything needs checking, and plan coastal work around the tides.
Every survey is tied to the Ordnance Survey grid (OSGB36 for position, OSTN15 for height) and delivered as a layered DWG with a matching PDF, usually 5 to 10 working days after the site visit.
Coastal and flood zone sites
The seafront, Leigh Old Town and parts of Shoeburyness sit in flood zones. For planning applications there, the flood risk consultant needs ground and floor levels to Ordnance Survey datum. We carry out flood risk level surveys alongside the topographical survey, so there is one visit and one set of levels.

Can you survey on the seafront or foreshore?
Yes. We plan foreshore and seafront surveys around the tide, and have surveyed the Leigh foreshore, Eastern Esplanade and Southend Pier.
