Data when you need it, not when the report arrives

Manual monitoring gives a snapshot after each visit. Remote monitoring gives the team a live view: automated instruments and sensors report continuously to our in-house dashboard, which shows every point over time, and alerts go out the moment a reading passes a trigger.

Alerts that reach the right people

Amber and red triggers are set by the structural engineer, and alerts go by SMS and email to the people named for each level. We follow up every breach with the site contact the same day, so nobody is left wondering whether a reading is real.

One place for all the data

Total station, tilt, crack and vibration readings sit side by side, so the engineer can see whether a change in one shows up in the others. Summary reports are issued for the project file, alongside the live data.

How it works

  1. Set triggers and contacts

Agree amber and red values with the engineer, and who gets alerted at each level.

  2. Connect the sensors

Automated total stations, tilt sensors, crack sensors and vibration monitors are set up to report remotely.

  3. Watch and respond

The dashboard updates as data arrives. Alerts go out immediately, and we follow up with the team.

Who we work with

  • Project and site managers

One place to check the monitoring without waiting for reports.

  • Engineers

Continuous data to make decisions quickly when movement changes.

  • Clients and third parties

Transparent access to the data on sensitive projects.

I contacted Tom to carry out a Topographic survey, and cannot recommend them enough. Nothing was to much, and I was kept up to date with everything as it happened! Great company to deal with and reasonably priced.

Remote monitoring and alerts: common questions

Which sensors can report remotely?

Automated total stations, tilt sensors, automated crack sensors and vibration monitors, all on the same dashboard.

Who receives alerts?

Whoever the project needs, typically the site manager, the structural engineer and the party wall surveyors. Different people can receive amber and red alerts.

What happens when a trigger is breached?

Alerts go out automatically, and we contact the named site contact the same day to check the readings and agree next steps.
