Sticking targets to metal is fiddly at best and impossible when it’s wet. The THSM20 has a strong neodymium magnet inside, so it holds firm on steel and can be reused job after job. It’s useful wherever you’re working with a total station: measured surveys, setting out, topographical surveys and structural monitoring.
They’re made for surveyors who want to use fewer stickers and place targets more consistently around a site.
