When submitting a lease plan it is vitally important that the details in the drawing are correct. Failure to ensure a valid plan will cause multiple problems and delays. Land Registry will simply reject incomplete or plans that don’t show enough detail. The following lists out some of the requirements from Land Registry:
the basic plan has been drawn accurately to a stated scale”
the plan shows the whole of the property including any garage, parking space, bin store or garden ground.
identifies different floor levels included (where appropriate).
access drives or pathways if they form part of property boundaries.
