Project Duration: June 2015 – July 2015
Location: Kensington Court, Kensington, London

THS Concepts were tasked by Intelitrade Ltd to undertake a floor plan survey of a large 5-storey Victorian property in Kensington, London. Our surveyors spent eight hours in the property, carefully surveying the building using surveying tapes and Leica laser distomat tools. To ensure we picked up all elements, our surveyors took a laptop loaded with our CAD program to produce partial drawings while we were there. This allowed us to quickly and accurately record the building as we went.

As well as floor plans, we were tasked with producing elevation views of the property. We achieved this by producing accurate levels for ceilings and floors. We also took photographs of the property so we could pick up all the details on the elevation. All in all the drawings took two days to produce; the elevations took a further day. We sent the drawings in PDF and DWG format. They were subsequently used by an architect who is redeveloping each apartment and bringing the building up to modern, high-quality standards.
