Topographical Land Surveyor Job

THS Concepts are an established Essex-based land, engineering and measured surveying practice, looking to strengthen the team with an experienced topographical land surveyor. We are focused on building a knowledgeable, dependable and friendly team of professionals who take pride in their work and enjoy delivering high-quality surveys for a wide range of clients.

We are currently seeking a confident and reliable topographical surveyor to join our land surveying department on a full-time basis. The role will suit someone who is comfortable working independently on site and contributing technically within the office. Responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking detailed topographical and measured surveys using total stations, GNSS and 3D laser scanning equipment.
• Producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings from survey data to a high professional standard.
• Planning and managing site work.
• Liaising with clients, architects and other consultants where required.

A typical working week will involve a balance of site-based work and office-based production. Survey sites range from residential properties and housing developments to large commercial sites and high-value private estates across London and the South East.

Office time will be spent at our Leigh-on-Sea office, processing survey data, producing drawings, and supporting the wider team. Our surveys utilise a range of modern equipment including total stations, GNSS, hand-held lasers and 3D laser scanners. This role would suit a surveyor who values accuracy, efficiency and professionalism, and who is looking to be part of a growing and well-regarded surveying practice.
