It is common for flood risk assessments to require an accompanying level survey to demonstrate the contours of the site. Flood risk assessments are generally carried out by specialist companies and comprise of an organised report outlining the issues and design considerations required for a plot of land.

A topographical plan for a flood risk zone consists of a site visit and survey using a Total Station. The information obtained during the survey is then extracted and presented using CAD software in the form of a site plan. Whilst not as thorough as a conventional topographical plan, the key information regarding boundary positions, ground levels, tree locations and building perimeters are shown. If you require a full topographical survey or the gathering of specific data, this will not be a problem.
All of our flood risk site surveys are carried out using Leica Total Stations and GPS equipment, ensuring the position, orientation and elevation relate to Ordnance Datum and the Ordnance Survey National Grid.
As per all of our drawings, we undertake revisions free of charge until you are 100% happy. The finished plan is then sent to you via email or printed and posted complimentary if required.
